Why there is a requirement to extend legal aid to our citizens?
हमारे देश में न्याय के लिए प्रयास करना अग्निपथ पर चलने के समान है | कहने को तो भारतीय न्यायालयों में लंबित मामलों की संख्या बहुत अधिक है, लकिन आज भी हमारे समाज का बहुत बड़ा भाग आर्थिक कारणों से न्यायालयों से न्याय की उपेक्षा करने की बजाए न्यायालयों से विमुखता को प्राथमिकता देता है | नागरिकों की इस कमजोरी का लाभ अन्याय करने वाले को मिलता है और अन्याय का कुचक्र आर्थिक रूप से कमजोर नागरिकों के जीवन पर गहरा प्रभाव डालता है |
वैसे तो आर्थिक रूप से कमजोर भारतीय नागरिको को हर राज्य या केंद्रीय शासित प्रदेश में निःशुलक कान्नोनी सेवाएं भी प्रधान की जाती है लकिन यह प्रयाप्त नहीं है | हम मानते है की अधिवक्ताओं को स्वयं भी आर्थिक रूप से कमजोर नागरिकों को निशुल्क या न्यूनतम फीस में अपने समय की उपलब्ध्ता एवं क्षमता के अनुसार कानूनी सेवाएं प्रदान करते रहना चाहिए | इसी लक्ष्य को सामने रखते हुए हमने यह हेल्पलाइन शुरू करने का प्रयास किया है |
Advocates associated with NyayTantra intend to support individuals or organizations by taking their matters on a pro-bono basis or at a substantially reduced fee.
1. Individuals – Legal Aid – Pro-Bono Basis
Indian Citizens who are from weaker economic sections of the society can reach out to us to avail legal aid on a pro-bono basis or at a substantially reduced fee provided the individual falls in the economically weaker sections of the society and our team has the bandwidth to handle the matter. Currently, we can support the affected person at a pro-bono level or at a substantially reduced fee only in Delhi District Courts, Delhi High Court and other tribunals located in Delhi. 2. Organization Level – Legal Aid
Many organizations are working with Police or other law enforcement agencies to support them in human trafficking matters in Delhi. We wish to support them through appropriate legal services either on a pro-bono basis or at a substantially reduced fee. We are available at info@nyaytantra.com.
Certain organizations are also working in prisons with accused persons or convicts for the welfare and reformation of prisoners in Delhi or in different parts of the country. we are interested in collaboration or external support to such organizations through appropriate legal services either on a pro-bono basis or at a substantially reduced fee.
