Ankush Mahajan

Patent Agent & Advocate

Ankush is dedicated to bridging the critical gap between technology and law. With a background in engineering and over 15 years in the industry, he helps innovators, corporations, and individuals navigate the complex lifecycle of Intellectual Property and commercial litigation.

His journey began in 2008 as a Registered Patent Agent, where he specialized in securing global protection for electrical, software, and biomedical innovations. Recognizing the need for holistic legal support, he expanded his practice in 2017 to become an Advocate. Today, Ankush doesn’t just protect ideas; he enforces them.

Ankush represents clients before Delhi District Courts, Tribunals, and the Delhi High Court for matters related to Intellectual Property Rights. He handles Appellate proceedings against the IPR office’s orders and contests Infringement suits across all IPR domains. In Patent matters, being a registered patent agent, he manages Revocation petitions and complex “Claim Construction” disputes. His Trademark and Copyright practice involves representing clients in Rectification Petitions, Passing-Off suits, and Royalty disputes. Additionally, he pursues legal remedies for Domain Name Disputes, cyber-squatting matters, Unfair Competition involving disparagement and comparative advertising, as well as the protection of Trade Secrets and breach of confidence.

Ankush also focuses on the protection of corporate rights and leadership. He defends Company Directors in cheque bounce cases by challenging false liability claims and utilizes bankruptcy laws to legally pause criminal proceedings against struggling companies.

He believes law should be accessible, not intimidating. Through his platform, NyayTantra.com, he simplifies complex legal jargon for the common man. Currently, Ankush is expanding his focus to cybercrime advocacy, offering pro-bono support to victims and collaborating with stakeholders to recover lost funds and prevent digital fraud.
